The Secret to Making Money in any MLM or Network Marking Business is in the “List”.
If you have been around any successful MLM Business or any successful Network Marketing Business, you’ve heard the Top Producers say, “The Money is in the List”.
But, what is the “List”?
Twenty years ago, when I was introduced to my first MLM or Network Marketing Business, I thought and was taught… that the “List” was the list of people I would write down on paper. I was told to write down a list of everyone I knew, starting with those closest to me. You know, my “Warm Market” and work my way out to everyone they know, the people I work with and everyone I came in contact with on a regular basis. Those people would become my “List”, my prospects that I would target, go after to join with me in my business.
Looking back, it would have been better said, “They would become the “Victims” of my new found business opportunity.”
That idea never worked for me! I mean…why would it…most of those people, they didn’t want a business. They were happy working for someone else! Not everyone you run into has a business mind.
So trying to build a successful MLM Business or Network Marketing Business by chasing your family and friends was never a good idea to begin with if you ask me. After having failed a couple times in different companies, the next time those people on your “List” saw you coming…you could hear them saying, “Oh no…here he comes…wonder what Next Big Thing he is doing now?”
That is not the right way to “Build a List.”

Stop and think about it…if you are going to build a good, targeted, successful “List”, you need it filled with people who have a desire to build a business. You want other business minded people. You want people who are not happy working for someone else. You want people who know that the only way they are going to find financial freedom…is to work for themselves.
In today’s world, with today’s technology, it is easier and easier to find the right people for your “List”. Today…you find everything and everyone on the internet.
So, if you are going to build a successful MLM Business or Internet Business, you need to let people who are business minded, who want to build a business find you on the internet.
And how do you do that, you ask? I’m glad you asked.
1. You start out by having your MLM Business or Internet Business on the internet with a great website. Not some cookie cutter website. You need a website that you can tailor to you. If it is just a replicated site, people will pass right over you because they get tired of seeing the same website over and over.
2. You need an “opt in” box on your website. This is really what is called the "Landing Page.” A Landing Page is where your prospects (other business minded people) will come first. This is where you give them a small taste of what you have to offer, but only enough, that they want more…but they have to put their name and email address in your “opt in” box for more information or updates.
3. Now you have started building a true “List” of prospects that are interested in building a business. These people have come to you…you didn’t go chasing them down…trying to talk them into the Next Big Thing. These are the people…that if you have a valuable product, products or services…will buy from you and make you money.
The Money is in the “List”.
Stop chasing people down and learn how they will start chasing you down, begging you to teach them how you became successful in your Internet or MLM Business.
